Don’t Give Up!
A little bit of encouragement to anyone who is feeling discouraged. We all have those days when nothing goes right. Please know that tomorrow is a new day.
-Maybe the kiddos were at each other’s throats all day.
-Maybe you spent the entire day e-learning and it was frustrating.
-Maybe you are tired.
-Maybe you are feeling uninspired.
-Maybe you are sad and you don’t even know why.
-Maybe you have been trying to put a desk together for days and all the instructions said you need 2 people to get the job done (I very much dislike this advice – as a single mom- and saw it as a challenge).
Tomorrow is a new day. And maybe, just maybe, you worked at it, looked at the problem a different way, and IT WORKED!!!!!
I have had the same Ikea desk for almost 20 years and it was time for an upgrade. I was so excited – but it was crazy heavy. I didn’t know if I could do it myself.
I was able to put it all together upside down, which is what the instructions said to do. However, I could not turn it over. I was so, so frustrated. Called my go-to handy person, aka Dad, slept on it, said a prayer, and I FINALLY was able to flip it by myself today (without killing myself)!!! WoooHooo!
You’ve got this, friend. And if you can’t do it on your own, call a friend, say a prayer, and sleep on it. 💗💗
