Vacation Memories

Whether you are in town for the summer or traveling for a vacation, summer is a joyful time for families.  Let’s capture this summer with our cameras so we – and our littles – can forever remember these moments.

Use your phone, your point & shoot, or a fancy DSLR to remember this summer.  It really doesn’t matter what you use because the best camera is always the one in your hand.

After your vacation, your memorable weekend or outing, be sure to download your pictures on your computer, save them, and PRINT them.  I recommend www.mpix.com to print your images.  Just upload them and choose the sizes of images you would like.

Vacation Memories Matted in a Folio Box

Having trouble thinking of a way to display them?

  • Buy an album and display it on your coffee table
  • Mount your prints and display them on your wall
  • Frame them and display them in the hallway
  • Put up a shelf in the hallway, bedroom, or dining room and display them
  • Put them in a folio box for display – choose one image to put on an easel and switch it out from time to time
  • Mat different sized prints and lean them against the wall on top of a dresser
Display vacation portraits on coffee table in albums or folio boxes for everyone to see.

Take the time to capture your family and YOURSELF this summer.  Because you were there, too.  Your children will thank you one day.

Create a photo wall where your family walks by everyday. Your littles will forever remember these moments because they are displayed on the wall. You can smile, laugh, talk about these portraits. Don’t just leave them on your computer, mommas. PRINT YOUR PHOTOS. As you see here, it doesn’t have to be difficult or fancy. Just you. 😉 Mine isn’t even finished but it is a start!
How to display your portraits
I LOVE my shelves of framed portraits. My girls and I get to enjoy this display every time we sit down at our kitchen table. I even installed the shelves by myself. Power tools are your friend, mommas. The wonderful thing about these is that you can easily switch the frames around, update portraits, and change the display.

Hi friends! I am an accredited portrait photographer who specializes in helping women to feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful in front of my camera. I would be honored to be your photographer.
