Glen Ellyn Family Session – Candid Family Photography in Chicago Western Suburbs – Family Photographer

Chatting about their session during the consultation, we talked about capturing their little one’s personality. And we weren’t sure if all three of them would be able to come. Not everyone enjoys getting their picture taken.

I explained that all they needed to do was show up, play and have fun and I would do the rest. I did not ask for “posey” pictures. When you have little ones, the LAST thing they want to do is stand still.  I asked them to play and prompted family hugs and games from time to time. That’s it. No uncomfortable “look at me and say, CHEESE!”

Family photos with kiddos are about showing your love and connection and capturing you at this moment in your life. You don’t need to look at me or the camera. Just look at one another, interact, have fun, and I will capture the authentic love and connection all while you play.

And “E” even played photographer during the session and captured a beautiful moment with his mom and dad walking, hand in hand.  How sweet is that!?  I think we might have a future photographer.  😉
